Faith, Fellowship, and Renewal in Southwest Kansas
ACTS Dodge City Diocese is a Catholic retreat ministry dedicated to fostering faith, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. Based at Prince of Peace Parish in Great Bend, Kansas, we serve the Diocese of Dodge City, welcoming Catholics from across Southwest Kansas and beyond to experience the life-changing journey of an ACTS retreat.
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers... And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they partook of food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."
ACTS 2:42, 46–47:
A Retreat Experience Rooted in Prayer and Purpose
Each year, we host men’s and women’s retreats at the Heartland Center for Spirituality, located at the Dominican Sisters of Peace Convent in Great Bend, Kansas. This peaceful and sacred environment provides the ideal setting for reflection, renewal, and spiritual growth.
Our retreats are built around four core pillars:
-
Adoration
Deepening your relationship with God through prayer and worship
-
Community
Forming meaningful connections with fellow Catholics
-
Theology
Growing in understanding of the Catholic faith
-
Service
Living your faith through ACTS of love and humility
A Journey for Every Stage of Faith
Whether you are strengthening a lifelong faith or taking your first steps in a deeper spiritual journey, this experience is designed to draw you closer to God and your community.
We are also working toward expanding these retreats to more locations across the Diocese of Dodge City, making this opportunity accessible to more individuals seeking spiritual renewal.
